Partnership Team and EU Team

Ana holds a BA in European Studies with a minor in Eastern European Politics and Globalization, Governance, and Development. For her undergraduate thesis, she focused on human rights violations in Croatia, which allowed her to explore the complexities of human rights issues on a deeper level. Her academic background, along with having lived in a few places has allowed her to gain insight into the diverse institutions and has equipped her to critically examine the political and social challenges facing different regions and to analyze the global system with a nuanced understanding. Building on these experiences, she is pursuing a MSc in Political Science with a specialisation in Nationalism, Ethnic Conflict, and Development at Leiden University. At GHRD, she is able to contribute her passion for a more just and equitable world in the name of human rights. Her work at GHRD mainly concerns working in the EU Advocacy and Lobbying Team and regularly working with GHRD partners to enhance collective advocacy efforts regarding human rights and justice.
