This report examines the Vietnamese government’s repression of civil society and human rights defenders. It provides an overview of the country’s history, socio-political landscape, religious and ethnic minority groups, and its national and international human rights legal framework. The report covers cases from June to September 2022 related to the repression of human rights defenders, civil society, and ethnic and religious minority groups.
