HAF spotlights Human Trafficking of Minorities in Pakistan
The Hindu American Foundation highlights human trafficking of Hindus, Christian girls from Pakistan’s Sindh province. The briefing featured HAF Director of Human Rights Deepali Kulkarni and World Sindhi Congress USA- Director Dr. Saghir Shaikh. Emphasis was laid out on US assistance to focus more on NGOs in Sindh who are working on civil rights issues related to religious minorities in Pakistan. The briefing also discussed the current US government classifications and citations of Pakistan’s human rights and religious freedom violations.
