Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 13:30 – 22:00 at the Grote Kerk
Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) is organizing an event on 7th March 2019 to highlight the persecution of religious minorities in Pakistan.
The protest seeks to focus international attention on the plight of minorities in Pakistan. The percentage of religious minorities in Pakistan has reduced from 23% to a mere 3.7% of the total population. Pakistani minorities are increasingly vulnerable to intimidation and attacks. Often, little is done to protect minority communities in the country.
After the protest march we will be holding a seminar at the Grote Kerk, The Hague. Women from the minority community will be sharing their experiences about religious persecution in Pakistan. There will also be a short documentary screening highlighting the ongoing human rights violations in Pakistan. All volunteers are cordially invited to join us for dinner at 18:15. GHRD will also be holding a second interactive women’s rights seminar following by an networking event. It promises to be a thought provoking and inspiring evening. Please see attached a detailed schedule of the event.
Join us and raise your voice against religious persecution. Please note registration is required. Please register via the Google form https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/ or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
