GHRD Online Roundtable Discussion on Women’s Rights and Activism in Post-July 2024 Bangladesh

On 23 March 2025, Global Human Rights Defence's Bangladesh Campaign hosted a roundtable webinar bringing together international experts to discuss the challenges facing women and girls in post-July 2024 Bangladesh, focusing on women's rights, activism, and the need for legal and social reforms.

The State of Minority Rights in Bangladesh: A Critical Review of Human Rights Violations (2024-2025)

GHRD organized an event in Brussels, bringing together human rights advocates and EU officials to discuss ongoing violations in Bangladesh. MEP Serban-Dimitrie Sturdza called for urgent reforms, emphasizing press freedom, justice for victims, and democratic accountability. The debate highlighted the need for sanctions, oversight mechanisms, and leveraging financial influence to drive meaningful change.
